Born in the populous city of Riga, Latvia, Eugene Preyl had a fate waiting for him across the globe that none could have imagined. When he was just four, Eugene's family took the bold step of immigrating to America. Settling in the charming town of Boston, Massachusetts, they began their new life.
In the heart and hub of Boston, Massachusetts, spent his formative years witnessing the beauty of sturdily built homes and infrastructure that ignited a curiosity and passion for construction. Also, finding interest in water sports owing to the coastal nature of his hometown, Eugene joined the swim team at a young age. His commitment to the sport saw him rise to be recognized as one of the top ten swimmers in New England between the ages of 10 and 18. The inclusivity of sports and his educational pursuit at Boston's local high schools made him fall in love with the town, which he would later serve with his professional expertise.
Eugene was naturally drawn to a career that combined his love of the physical environment, problem-solving, and creating a tangible impact. Hence, he pursued a Bachelor's in Construction Management from the esteemed Wentworth Institute. He owned and operated a construction company for a decade, adding a robust portfolio of difficult yet successful developments under his belt.
