Eugene Preyl's journey began in the populous city of Riga, Latvia, where he was born into a world brimming with possibilities. His early childhood was marked by a significant transition when, at the age of four, his family made the life-changing decision to immigrate to America. This bold move brought them to Boston, Massachusetts, a city renowned for its rich history and cultural vibrancy, where they started anew.

In Boston, he spent his formative years, a period that played a critical role in shaping his future. Surrounded by the city's iconic architecture and influenced by its coastal setting, he developed a deep interest in construction and water sports. This interest led him to join the local swim team, where he demonstrated remarkable talent. His commitment and skill in swimming saw him rise through the ranks, eventually becoming one of the top ten swimmers in New England between the ages of 10 and 18. These experiences were not just about sports; they were integral in fostering his love for Boston, a city he would later contribute to with his professional expertise.

His inclination towards the physical environment, problem-solving, and making a tangible impact naturally drew him to a career in construction. Pursuing this path, he enrolled in the Wentworth Institute and completed a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management. His time at the institute was marked by academic excellence, the development of camaraderie, and a strengthening of his leadership qualities.

After graduating, Eugene Preyl embarked on an entrepreneurial journey. He founded and managed a construction company for a decade, tackling challenging projects and building a robust portfolio. This period was crucial in establishing his reputation as a hardworking and resilient businessman, traits that would shape his future endeavors.
